CONFIGURATIONS:

Freebsd and BSDI 3.0 with apache web servers, P266 and P-300 with  Raid 5 Hardrives. At least 128 megs of per machine memory.

NT 4.0 web server with IIS3.0. Dual II-400s Pro's High Speed Ultra Wide SCSI 10,000 Seagate Cheetah Drives. At least 128 megs of per machine memory.

CONNECTION:

Each of our Computers is connected via 10 meg Ethernet Connection to an Full Duplex 100 Meg Switched Ethernet hub that runs to a cisco 7513 router.. Results, our Computers reside next to some of the Largest Corporations in the World. What does this mean to you? Think of it this way, the farther down the line you are the longer it takes to get to the main backbones (MCI, Sprint, UUnet, and a few Others). Everybody must get to these lines at some point so that information can be transferred from one part of the country or world to the next. If your web site is sitting 20 feet from that backbone you can image the difference. The cost is more but the performance is EXTREME.

1. Why should I pay for bandwidth charges if I can find a provider that will offer Unlimited Bandwidth?

Reason: It truly doesn't exist. We all have to pay for bandwidth. so any company that offers this will limit the amount web pages that your site can serve per day. This is accomplished in many ways, by overloading a box with all the adult accounts on 1 box and just let them fight it out. This can be done by placing your web site on a slow Pentium 100 with reduced memory i.e. 16megs of memory, so there is no way that many people will access that account.. This is reality. No service provider can allow one customer for $39.95 per month to use $500.00 worth of bandwidth.

2. Why do you offer Non Adult accounts Unlimited Bandwidth?

Reason: Most all non adult sites never get more than a 1000 visitors a day even after being in business for 1 year.. In comparison an Adult site can get 1000 visitors per day after a week in business.

3. Why are your setup fees so high, and are theses negotiable?

Reason: NO our setup fees are not negotiable. These Monies are set aside for new hardware. We refuse to allow a server to get past 75% capacity before we purchase and install an new server on a new line. If we gave every customer a discount we would have to place more people on the server to justify the cost of the equipment.

4. Why are your servers so much faster than my previous server?

Reason: There are lots of reasons, including the connection being connected to the backbone, No overloaded servers, and highly tuned web servers for web page delivery.
